What have we been up to???

Bunny Bite - While having Eater pictures made, the bunny rabbit decided to see what Braydn's finger tasted like. Big B didn't like that very much. It didn't actually break the skin, thank goodness, but gave us something to remember for the rest of his life! Got bit by the bunny rabbit, who would have thought!

Well, I failed to post last week, so we are playing catch up here. You can see a lot has happened since we last posted. Last Wednesday, March 25th, Braydn turned 5 weeks old. On Friday, March 27th, Mommie and Daddy celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary. Also, on this same day, Big B (Braydn that is) weighed in at 8 lb 8 oz! He gained 12 oz in one week. So, things are moving right along. We are sleeping some better lately, still a little colic-y at times, but we are getting the hang of this. Braydn is taking Zantac now, 3 times a day to help with his tummy troubles. But, we are also staying awake more during the day to help with our night-owl symptoms.

Our first family outing was on our anniversary. Braydn went with us to eat at Simp McGee's. Although he slept the whole time, it was nice just being out together. So, we will post again soon, hopefully this week.

Oh, Braydn had another cousin born this week, Kloe Leanne Wright. She weighed 6 lb 12 oz, born to Patti and Patrick Wright. We can't wait to meet her!

Weigh-in, March 20, 2009

I took little man to the hospital this afternoon for a weight check. I want you all to know that this little guy weighed 7 lbs 12 oz!!! He gained almost another pound this week!!! He has made much progress since his birth weight of 5 lbs 3 oz. Way to go Braydn!

Circumcision

Well, today was Braydn's circumcision. I believe he handled it better than Bear and me. The actual procedure only lasted about 5-10 minutes. We were there a total of 1 1/2 hours. The nurses and the doctor were very, very nice and helpful. They all just babied him and loved on him, so much. We are so glad it's over and thankful that it went well. Thanks for checking in.

Happy One Month Birthday, Braydn!!!

Well, our little booger bear is exactly one month old today! It's so hard to believe!!! He is changing so much and growing so fast. Here are a few pictures taken this morning. He has mastered strolling in the jog stroller that his Grandaddy Whitlock got for him. We go for walks with big sister Ame. He and she both do very well. The stroller reclines all the way back, so we don't have to worry about his little head bobbing around. Althouth, he is quickly learning how to control it, especially from the tummy position. Friday, March 13th - Our Due Date!!!

Well guys, Braydn is 3 weeks and 2 days old today on his due date! I never would have dreamed he'd be this old on this day. He is doing wonderful and gaining weight. He is very alert when he is awake and just looks around so curiously. We couldn't have asked God for a healthier, more perfect baby! He is absolutely the best thing we could have imagined!!! We are so thankful to have him here and we are truly blessed! Thanks for checking in on us. Thanks guys and hope you all have a great weekend!

Ok, he had a consult today for his circumcision. It is scheduled for next Thursday at 2:30pm. Mommie and Daddy will be so glad when it is over! I am so nervous about it, but I know it's best for him. Anyway, he weighed in at 6lbs and 15ozs today! He has gained over a pound in 1 week. Way to go Braydn! Thanks for checking in and God bless you guys!

Guess who is 3 weeks old today?????

That's right, can you believe 3 weeks has already passed since our little miracle was born????? Well here are the latest pictures.

This is the 1st time Braydn slept in his crib! He usually sleeps in his bassinett in Mommie and Daddy's bedroom. This one was of course taken during the day. Can't hardly put him back there at night, yet.
