2 months old!!!

We had our 2 month shots yesterday! He was so, so fussy last night! He is much better today! It was pitiful...so glad it's over. 2 more months before he has to do it again.

He got a good reort at his 2 month check up. He weighed in at 10 lb 13 oz. Dr. Hay says he is now in the average range, 25-50th percentile. He was in the 5th at his 2 week visit! He has come a long way. Thanks for checking in on our little man! We are enjoying him so much! We are so proud to have him.

Another week older.....

We had Easter pics made a couple of weeks ago with a live bunny. Our dear friend Valerie did these pictures for us and let me add that she did a GREAT job! For all of you that haven't already heard, Braydn got bit by the bunny during his photo shoot! It is hilarious now, after the fact! But at the time, we were all shocked and a little nervous about it. It didn't even break the skin and the little man is perfectly fine! So, yes, now you can laugh!!! :) This will definitely be something we will never forget.

Braydn visited the Easter Bunny on Friday, April 10th.

On his way to cousin Evan's 6th birthday party, last Saturday, April 4th!!! This was Braydn's first birthday party! As you can see, he was VERY excited about going! Mommie and Braydn at the party (Daddy was there, too, just taking the pictures.).

Braydn had another cousin added to the family on Mommie's side. This is Kloe Wright at 2 weeks old. We went to meet her last week.

And here is the big little man himself!!! He weighed in at 9 lbs 13 oz last week! Man, he is growing so very fast and picking up pace, I believe.

The Easter Bunny came Saturday night and left this basket full of goodies for Big B.

Here we are, the family, getting ready for church. This was Braydn's first time at church. He slept right through most of it, but I do have to say I believe he enjoyed the music/singing. We have good music and singing at church!

Now, we are on our way to Easter lunch. How in the world is he sleeping??? Cannot be comfortable!

But, as you can see, he didn't wake up when we got there either! Here he is on the left sleeping beside his cousin Owen. Owen is almost 4 months old here. Big B slept for about 3 hours in his carrier! Wow, unbelievable!

And here are the 2 men in my life, Braydn and his wonderful Daddy! What a cute picture of the 2 of them.

So, we have had a lot going on, as you can see. We had an Easter Dinner last night, too. I don't have the pictures from that yet. I'll put them up as soon as I get them. He has had baby acne this week, too. But I believe we have conquered it, I sure hope so! It had his little face so broken out!!! But, we found this wonderful cream that fixed it right up, so we are all clear for the time being. Also, I'm not sure if I have mentioned this, but to be such a little man, this dude sure can produce some very loud gas! I am NOT kidding! I mean, it is amazing that something so awful and loud can come out of such a small beautiful baby! But, anyway, for the ones who have yet to witness this, I had to share! :) Thanks for taking the time to check in! God bless you guys!

Big B went to the doctor this week. He has had a case of the sniffles, Mommie and Daddy have both had it. He is doing much better now. He weighed in at 9 lb 1 oz this week on Thursday. Go Braydn! He also has a touch of allergies, mostly skin as best we can tell. Dr. Hay changed his face and body wash to help it out. Seems that certain things touching him irritates the skin, mostly on his face, since that is exposed.

Bunny Bite - While having Eater pictures made, the bunny rabbit decided to see what Braydn's finger tasted like. Big B didn't like that very much. It didn't actually break the skin, thank goodness, but gave us something to remember for the rest of his life! Got bit by the bunny rabbit, who would have thought!

Well, I failed to post last week, so we are playing catch up here. You can see a lot has happened since we last posted. Last Wednesday, March 25th, Braydn turned 5 weeks old. On Friday, March 27th, Mommie and Daddy celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary. Also, on this same day, Big B (Braydn that is) weighed in at 8 lb 8 oz! He gained 12 oz in one week. So, things are moving right along. We are sleeping some better lately, still a little colic-y at times, but we are getting the hang of this. Braydn is taking Zantac now, 3 times a day to help with his tummy troubles. But, we are also staying awake more during the day to help with our night-owl symptoms.

Our first family outing was on our anniversary. Braydn went with us to eat at Simp McGee's. Although he slept the whole time, it was nice just being out together. So, we will post again soon, hopefully this week.

Oh, Braydn had another cousin born this week, Kloe Leanne Wright. She weighed 6 lb 12 oz, born to Patti and Patrick Wright. We can't wait to meet her!
